Applications: Subaru Impreza / WRX / FXT / LGT 5 Speeds 1998-2005
Torque Solution Solid Shifter Linkage Joint Update for Subaru 5 Speeds made from 1998-2005. This unit replaces the non-serviceable joint found on 5 speed Subaru's from 1998-2005. Our linkage joint uses a brand-new Subaru joint (35046AG000) and we swap out the joint completely for our stainless steel solid trunnion linkage joint. This is the ultimate combo to go with to ensure firm crisp shifts for a lifetime. You won't have to worry about failing rubber bushings again!! Get rid of the sloppy feeling and excessive play you notice in your shifter by using our joint upgrade. This upgrade will provide a much more direct feel when shifting, so you know when you go for each gear its going where it supposed to go.

**Grease both supplied bolts / joint during the install. Torque to 11 ft. lbs. Do not overtighten.
**Fits all pre-2006 Subaru 5 speed manual transmissions. Some 1998 models may have the linkage with the external return spring. Please check your linkage to confirm, as if you have it then this will not work for you.
