The OEM inlet and plastic corrugated hose are extremely restrictive being only 2.5" (62.5mm). Our kit drastically increases this to 3" (76mm)!! Install Notes:
1. Coupler will need trimming on both ends to fit. We recommend trimming in approx. 1/8" increments using a worm gear clamp as a guide and a fresh sharp blade. Please be careful and use caution when performing this task.
2. We highly recommend using masking tape on the inlet to prevent scratching till you have the coupler perfectly trimmed.
3. Install all fittings with a ptfe tape.
